General
Publishing Statements aggregate validated Import data into royalty statements that are sent to Publishing Partners. melino calculates payouts based on the applicable Contracts, territories, and distribution channels.
Generating a Statement
Select the Company, Partner, Year, and Term, then trigger statement generation. melino calculates:
- Total royalty income attributable to this Partner.
- Applied Contract rates per territory and channel.
- Deductions (advances, opening balances, recoupments).
- Final Payout amount.
Statement Breakdown Views
Once generated, a Statement can be drilled down across multiple dimensions:

Exporting Statements
Statements can be exported in three formats:
- PDF — formatted partner-facing statement.
- XLSX — spreadsheet for detailed review.
- ZIP — bundle of all statement files.
The output is formatted according to the selected Explate (export template).
Statement Status
| Status | Meaning |

| Draft | Generated but not yet sent |
| Sent | Marked as dispatched to the Partner (date recorded) |
| Locked | Finalised — no further changes allowed |
