General

Editions represent publishing imprints — they link a group of Works to a specific company identity (IP Name Number). They are primarily used for CWR submissions and catalogue organisation.

Editions can be nested: a sub-publisher's catalogue can live under the main publisher's Edition.

IP Name Number

The society-assigned identifier for this publishing entity.
