Introduction

The Artist Portal is the self-service companion to melino Label and melino Publishing. It gives your business partners - artists, licensors, producers and publishers - their own secure access to the data that concerns them: royalty statements, payout details, sales analytics and their catalog.

Everything a Partner sees is scoped to their own relationships. If a Partner works with more than one Label or Publisher on the platform, all of those Labels and Publishers appear side by side, each row marked with the corresponding icon.

The Portal is available as a web application and as native apps for iOS and Android, all sharing the same account and data.

Signing in

Partners sign in with their email and password. A Remember me option keeps the email prefilled on the device, and Forgot password sends a reset link. New users can register and receive an activation email; their profile stays unverified until the Label or Publisher confirms it.

Read-only by design

The Portal is a window into the Label's and Publisher's data, not an editor. Partners can browse and search their Artists, Tracks, Products, Writers and Works, but the underlying records are owned by the Label or Publisher.

Where a correction is needed, an item opens in a small Edit panel with a Request change button. Submitting it sends the proposed values to the Label or Publisher as a change request by email - the Label or Publisher reviews and applies them. This keeps the master data consistent while still letting Partners flag mistakes.

Lists

List screens share the same controls: a search field, sorting (by tapping the sort button or a column header), pagination with an adjustable page size, and - on statements - a grid / list view toggle.
