Submissions

Artists can submit new productions to one or more labels using melino Submissions via the Artist Portal.

They only need to provide a few details initially. The system then sends an email to an A&R manager at the label, who can review the production and access information about the Artist.

If the A&R manager decides to offer the Artist a license, the system can automatically handle the licensing process.

The Artist will then receive a request to fill in any missing personal information, production metadata, and, if applicable, other licensors (e.g., other producers and their involvement in the production) in the Artist Portal.

If there are other licensors, the system will also prompt them to complete their personal information in the Artist Portal.

All parties will then receive an e-signature agreement. Once all parties have signed, the licensing process is complete.

The status of pending and completed submissions can be tracked in the system.
