Explates
General
An Explate is a template for the Excel file containing all the details that are sent with the Royalty Statements and made available for download in the Artist Portal.
Since there may be different requirements for this Excel file depending on the Partner or business relationship, any number of Explates can be created.
Examples of use:
- Selection of columns
- Language of column headers
- Customized column names
- Customized column widths, amount rounding, or other cell formatting
- Hidden columns, so included in the Excel file but collapsed by default
Debugging Explate
It is good practice to create an internal Explate, specifically designed for troubleshooting, that will not be exposed to the Partners. This allows you to add more columns and quickly view all the details that are not meant to be sent.
